We are ants in this jungle of a world

Yesterday I almost lose my life

Totaled my car

Yet I walked out alright

The black ice and my brakes where having a fight

I was swerving down hill

Afraid the children in the school bus

I may kill

Hit the car in the other lane

She walked out shaken up, but still the same

Now I see my blind faith in you

Is not in vain

We are simply pawns in this life’s game

Did I dream this would occur at 9 am?

Enroute to work boom! Crash!

But on me just a tiny scratch!

Thank you hashem!

This morning my life has new meaning

I will not take the little good things for granted

I will focus on what I have

Not on what I wanted

Give love to the people near me

Be happy, simply for my reality.

Yesterday I totaled my car

But from yesterdays state of mind I’ve grown so far.
